Paddling 5 miles a day, walking up to 5 miles with 40 lb packs, swimming in rapids, sleeping in tents on a pad. This trip will include paddling on both flat-water and white-water.
Before paddling white-water we will cover river safety, and practice a short rapid swim with life jacket and helmet on, not about skill but building comfort. Paddling instruction will be mixed in with

Food will be provided by Palmar Collective & Packraft ME, you will be able to let us know your dietary restrictions when you sign up for the event. We encourage participants to bring their own snack in case the portions we offer do not meet your needs.
Camping gear. We encourage participants to bring their own gear if they have it.

This is a bit general, depending on the weather you may want to bring more or less
2 pairs non-cotton socks
2 non-cotton underwear or 1 quick dry shorts
1-2 long pants (these can be quick dry, waterproof or long underwear)
1 light weight long sleeve shirt (fancy tex or goodwill cotton button down)
1 short sleeve non cotton shirt
1 Rain Jacket
1 Rain Pant
1 midweight warm layer (fleece, wool, puffy)
1 warm hat
1 sun hat
1 pair of closed toed river shoes that will stay on in the water (not crocs)
1 pair of dry shoes for camp (crocs are a good lightweight option- Another option is to bring a pair of waterproof socks and wear your wet shoes for biking and in camp)
1 sarong or light weight towel (for privacy when changing)
